Viper Snakes are mainly found in America, Africa and Eurasia. They are basically of Southern Canada. Viper Venom contains a Protein Degrading Enzymes called “Proteases” which is injected and shows the symptoms of Pain, Local Swelling and Necrosis of Muscles which lead the impaired or loss of work of Diaphragm leads Dyspnea (Breathing lack) and loss of Blood Pressure. The major cause of this is Loss of Cardiovascular Function followed by Death.
Viper Snakes are Venomous Snake found all over world except Australia, New Zealand, Antarctica and North of Arctic Circle and Madagascar and Hawaii. The Viper Snakes are belong to Viperidae family include The Cotton Mouth Snake, Copper Head Snake, Rattle Snakes, Green Vipers, Gaboon Vipers and Horn Vipers. Though This species is Venomous found in the tropical areas such as South America and South Africa.
Viper Snake Facts
Viper Snake has a pair of long Hollow Fangs which is used to inject venom to prey from their glands. This Fangs are attached to upper Jaw behind the eyes. When this fang is not in use Viper can rotate it back and fold inside. After rotating back into mouth it encloses by the Membranous Sheath.
Again at the time of opening of the Maxilla in 180 degree straight so Fangs can come out without any damage (though the fangs are brittle in nature) and going to inject its venom after Fangs penetrate into the target. This total action strikes very fast. They are available all over world in the ranges of mountain, field, desert and rain forest.
After mating in Viper snakes eggs are fertilized and incubated inside the mother and she gives birth of the live young Viper. One variety called Bushmaster Viper Snake which give rise the live birth.
They are of many types such as Gaboon Viper, Pit Viper, Green Viper, Horned Viper and Eyelash Pit Viper etc.
